Hi, my name is Michael Bush. I am riding a bike across the country this summer, from Richmond, NH to Portland, OR. I have another blog, one that's just gushing with emotional trauma. This one will be a bit more tame with Lenny's help. I went to Binghamton University, studied bioengineering, and graduated first in my class. In the fall, I will be working at Isabella Friedman retreat center learning about Judaism and agriculture. I've recently started to describe myself using the three "I"s - introspective, intuitive, and intelligent. I like to read books, watch movies, play games, and live life. I'm not really too much of anything except that I really like time to myself and wide open spaces, which is a big reason why I am doing this trip. In any case, Lenny and I better be heading, but for now, we hope you enjoy what's been put in front of you :).
Today, we are leaving from Richmond, NH. We plan on heading through Vermont and staying over at the Green Mountain National Forest Preserve. Next, we head into New York, probably get a bite to eat with my friend Justin in Troy, and then arrive over in Cooperstown, NY, at the campsite named Glimmerglass (ohhh, sounds fancy). On Friday (TGIF), we'll be arriving in our college abode of Binghamton.
To the National Forest : 50 miles
To Cooperstown : 105 miles
To Binghamton : 90 miles
We'll be posting more as the tour continues. Thanks for tuning in and wish us luck.
